Ella is the most restless little girl in all of Elderton. Even with dozens of toys scattered around her bedroom, the spark of restlessness inside the little princess continues to burn. She loves spending time with her mother and father, but they are often busy with castle duties and cannot spend as much time with her as she would like.
One day, Ella discovered the Shadowy Path, and her restlessness began to fade as she found new and exciting adventures to fill her days and a wonderful new friend named Scoop.

Scoop is the leader of the Grub Wranglers Crew. He and his team work hard to deliver tasty grubs to the residents of the many underground cities, including Grubleton and his hometown, Cavar. Grubs are the main food for everyone down there, and the Grub Wranglers Crew is famous for having the juiciest, most delicious grubs in all of Twinklemist. Scoop lives with his mother and brother in a small but cozy home, though with his busy schedule, he’s rarely there.
One evening, while heading home from Grubleton, he stumbled upon a lost girl in the tunnels of Twinklemist. Little did he know, that lost girl would soon become his very best friend.

Cheerolina Cherriesworth is the head fairy of Very Berry Cherry Valley. She is responsible for tending to the giant cherries throughout the valley and has been doing so for over 200 years. These cherries are a favorite food of the giants who live in the neighboring Crumblerock Mountains. Her biggest challenge is making sure the giant named Dumpy Scrumpy gets his daily dose of cherries; otherwise, he becomes very cranky and stomps around the mountains, causing large rocks to roll into the valley.
One day, Cheerolina stumbled upon Ella in the valley and discovered that Ella had been nibbling one of the cherries that only giants and cherry fairies can safely eat. Shortly afterward, Ella felt an intense pain in her stomach. Thankfully for Ella, Cheerolina’s magic wand was able to heal her and return her to her normal, adventurous self.
