Fold one corner of your orange paper diagonally until the edges line up, creating a triangle with an extra strip of paper.

Near the bottom of the diamond, away from the pocket, draw a jagged outline for your Jack-O'-Lantern's teeth. Keep the teeth shallow so the bookmark still fits securely over a page corner.

Carefully cut along your outline to give your pumpkin a toothy grin.

Cut a strip of black construction paper approximately ½ to 1 inch tall.

Cut three small triangles from the black strip: two for the eyes and one for the nose.

Apply a small amount of washable glue to the back of each triangle. Quickly attach the triangles to the front of your bookmark to create your pumpkin's face.
